The Proform 1050T Treadmill is the top of the line model for the Proform Tech Series. The Tech series allows you to synchronize your workout plan with the most up-to-date treadmill technologies. This treadmill has it all in terms of motor, belt size and features. But where it lacks, like most proform models, it the reliability and quality of the brand.

This can handle and user, from the light walker to the heavier runner.

Key Features:

This 1050T Proform treadmill (like all Proform treadmills) has a superior cushioning system (Protech Cushioning) that reduce impact on your joints by 15% as compared to road running. It delivers the perfect balance of comfort and joint protection.

Proform prides itself with feature packed fitness equipment. The 1050T Proform has 20 pre-programmed workouts, grip heart rate monitor, and a sound system compatible with ipods.

Proform has made its models more appealing by providing an good warranty. In the past, its warranties were 90 days but you can expect the Proform 1050T Treadmill to have a lifetime on frame and motor, 2 year on parts and 1 year labor. A bit stronger than the base model, but still weak for parts and labor.

Final verdict:

While the 1050T is an improvement over the 790T, the higher price is its major flaw. It now competes against mid range treadmill brands that have a better overall treadmill rating.

Compared to the 790T, It has a 3.0 CHP motor, longer belt at 20 x 60 in, and more pre-programmed workouts. In our opinion it’s not worth the additional 300$. Furthermore, it is currently not on sale, therefore the price difference is 800$!!!

Stick with the proform 590T or 790T treadmill, if those are not for you, look at other models or brands.
