Weslo Cadence GTX Treadmill Review
Is this for you:
Don’t be swayed with the “GTX” in the name. This Weslo Cadence GTX treadmill is a low end treadmill. It has all the basic specs and features you would expect on a treadmill. This Weslo treadmill is for you if you are willing to gamble with its poor reliability and cheap treadmill parts. With a weight capacity of 250 lbs, we would not recommend someone over 200 lbs to buy this treadmill. In fact, we don’t recommend treadmills under $500, there are other models out there with better value.
Key Features:
We will keep this short and concise. Its price is the best feature of these Weslo treadmills.
Its Weslo parts and poor quality are the main drawbacks. 90-day warranty on parts and labor is the shortest warranty length in the market. The Welso Cadence GTX treadmill does not leave you with any assurance that its treadmill parts will last.
Its 16 inch belt width is borderline too narrow. If you are walking it should not be much of an issue. 2.25 HP motor is weak. Keeping the speed low will ensure the motor does not get pushed to its limits.
The only good feature this Weslo Cadence treadmill has is its cheap treadmill price. Its one of the few models below $500
Final verdict:
You can do better things with $500, like a membership at your local gym, buy nice pair of shoes with heart rate monitor…If you absolutely want a Weslo treadmill, take a look at the Pro CrossWalk.
Note: Don’t be overwhelmed with the numerous Welso Cadence treadmills out there. Many of them are older models that Weslo.com stopped manufacturing. There are currently two models on their website.
Older Weslo Cadence treadmills include:
Weslo Cadence 450 treadmill
Weslo Cadence 2300 treadmill
Weslo Cadence 200CS treadmill
Weslo Cadence C44 treadmill
Weslo Cadence TS 310 treadmill
The list goes on…
