Ironman 150t Treadmill

The 150t Iron Man treadmill is the base model they have to offer. It is a folding treadmill and it has decent specs. Of the three “t” models (150t, 220t and 320t) the 320t would be your best choice. It cost less than $1,000 and it has the highest value among the three.

The 150t comes with a 2.0 CHP motor and a good belt size (20 x 56 inch). It has a good motor warranty but the remainder of it is short. For features, the 150 t Ironman comes with cooling fans and remote handlebar controls for your convenience.

If you like Ironman, then we would suggest either the 320t or the Inspire. Otherwise, Smooth treadmills and Sole treadmills are other strong competing brands.

Ironman 220t Treadmill

The 220t Ironman is the middle class Ironman treadmill “t” series. For a budget of $1,000, you are getting a decent value. But as mentioned earlier, if you like Ironman, then we would suggest either the 320t or the Inspire.

The quality and reliability of the 220t is no different than the 150t. In terms of specs, it has a stronger motor and more built in programs. The speed and incline can climb up to 10 mph and degrees, respectively.

It comes with cooling fans and one touch speed and incline buttons. These two features are very convenient. The reason why we recommend the 320t over this model is because it includes heart rate monitoring. It is well worth investing the additional $100 for this feature.

Looking at other brands, Smooth treadmills and Sole folding treadmills can be better alternatives to the 220t Iron man treadmill.

The 320t Iron man treadmill is the last model priced under $1,000. This is a sales price that is offered at Amazon. The MSRP is valued at $1,399; a value not worth paying. The main difference between the 150t, 220t, and 320t is the motor power and programs offered. Opt for the 320t if you like training programs.

The 320 t Ironman has a strong motor and spacious running space. It also comes with built in heart rate control and wireless heart rate monitoring. Heart rate control is encouraged as better results are obtained while training in your specific heart rate zone.

The quality and resilience is below average. Although Keys Fitness has made a move to provide higher quality parts, we would like to remind you that this machine is still in the $1,000 range and therefore you should not expect high quality parts.

IRONMAN Inspire Treadmills - *BEST VALUE WITHIN IRONMAN*

The Inspire Ironman treadmill is the latest addition to the line of models. Some stores sell the Inspire with the Ironman Evolution Elliptical trainer as a combo package. Together, it provides a good source of cardiovascular endurance.

The Inspire Iron man is the complete package. It comes with a wireless chest strap and heart rate control. It comes with a 3.0 CHP motor to power the large 20 x 60 inch belt.

Similar to most Ironman treadmills, the Inspire treadmill features include handrails, one touch speed and incline buttons and cooling fans.

The Inspire treadmill is one of the best treadmills in the $1,000 to $1,500 range. The subtle weakness is its warranty, where a longer duration on parts would be better.

The Ironman Triad is another recent addition to the line of models. Again, this treadmill does not offer much more features and programs than the other models. However, its larger space and powerful motor make the difference. The Triad Ironman treadmill is for more serious and frequent runners. We would suggest the Inspire instead and to save yourself $500.

The Triad Ironman treadmill is competing against top brands such as Pacemaster. Ironman Fitness is better known for its low to mid end machines, and it should be left at that.
