Precor M9.23 Treadmill

The Precor M 9.23 treadmill is the lowest priced model within Precor. It is the most basic treadmill of the five but that does not stop it from performing well. It’s got a good running area, a steel one piece welded frame and a few programs that add spice to your workouts.

It weighs in at 258 lbs which is a good weight for stability. A Heart rate monitor is optional with this Precor treadmill and so is the wireless chest strap.

Its quality is quite good but if you are a serious runner and really want to know what Precor is about, take a look at the other Precor models. The Pacemaster treadmill is also a very solid machine with high quality parts. They are a better choice for treadmills ranging from $2,000 to $2,500.

Precor M9.27 Treadmill

The Precor M 9.27 treadmill has the same running space as the M9.23 but with more programs. This Precor treadmill also comes with a chest strap to measure your heart rate. This chest strap can be used with two heart rate programs (enables the treadmill to automatically change its resistance in accordance to your targeted heart rate).

Speaking of heart rate, this Precor treadmill has a SmartRate feature where it shows your actual heart rate in relation with your target zone for a better cardio training and/or weight loss training.

Once again, this treadmill doesn’t really give you the entire benefits of owning a Precor treadmill. Take a look at the higher end Precor models. Things get much more interesting. For this price range, consider a Pacemaster treadmill. You will get a better packaged treadmill.

The Precor M 9.31 treadmill is a solid overall treadmill. It’s got an excellent motor power and a good 20 by 57 inch running area. It has an Integrated Footplant Technology where the belt speed precisely adjusts as your foot hits the deck. It supports the natural motion and prevents drag that can pull your foot backwards as you move forward.

This Precor treadmill has a dry lube belt lubrication that requires no maintenance. The belt is also reversible, doubling its lifespan.

You also have the ability to enable and disable a password on the treadmill limiting the use to certain users. Speaking of user, you have the ability to set a users weight and age so that the treadmill becomes accustomed to that specific user.

Unfortunately, this Precor treadmill does not have a heart rate monitor. The wireless chest strap is optional and therefore so is the Heart rate control. The Precor M9.33i treadmill has all of those options and more.

To recap, the Precor M9.31 treadmill has an excellent motor power, a good quality, a good reliability and an excellent warranty. If you want many more extras and a better valued treadmill, look to the Precor M9.33i. Otherwise, this Precor treadmill can definitely withstand the hard pounding of a serious runner.

Its got a variety of 14 programs including 2 heart rate programs. These two heart rate programs are controlled with your heart rate. The way it works is that the treadmill monitors your heart rate through the included wireless chest strap or through the hand held heart rate monitor. You can target a specific heart rate zone so that the treadmill varies its speed and incline relative to that zone. This helps users consistently train in a desired heart rate zone.

This Precor treadmill is the new version of the Precor M9.35. As the latter, its console has a newer look to it but nothing dramatic has changed.  There were 4 more programs added with 2 extra user ID's. 

This is an overall excellent treadmill that will certainly over deliver and give you a vigorious workout. But if we were to take value into consideration, the Precor M9.33i treadmill is definitely a better purchase.

To sum up, the Precor M 9.35i treadmill has an excellent warranty, an excellent motor power and has very good quality components. Precor is renowned to be one of the top brands on market and you just can’t go wrong with this model.
