There are some differences between these two models. We suggest this model for the following reasons. The C3500 has a large belt of 20 x 60 in. Its 2.0 power motor might have a hard time powering the large belt. The V1700 has a 2.25 CHP, not much more powerful. Both motors are warranted for a long duration. This model has good features and they outnumber the V1700. But we don’t base our suggestion based on features such as quick speed, power incline or its 7 x 10 matrix.
