Strong Point

Tunturi has strong motors and it is warranted for 15 years. No belt is greater than 20 x 60. Therefore the motor will have no problem powering the belt.

Tunturi treadmills also have a good cushioning system. This can prove very useful if you plan on using the machine regularly. The Cushioning system is one of the most important features on the machine. Thankfully, Tunturi treadmills have this one covered.

The T20 is a Tunturi treadmill you can run on. Its 20 x 56 belt provides enough space to not feel enclosed. In fact, that a good sized belt size.

As far as features go, it has 10 built in programs, handgrip and wireless chest strap heart rate monitors and heart rate control. Its handrail speed/incline buttons are conveniently positioned to change the speed/incline of the treadmill.

The T60 Tunturi treadmill is the cheapest model to have memory profiles and user register; features that may perhaps entice a buyer. However as far as specs go, this model is no better than the T20.

The console might look nicer and it includes a wireless chest strap (as opposed to it being optional). Is it worth the extra $500 (CAN$)? That is a decision you must make.

The T85 is the top home Tunturi treadmill. It comes in 2 versions, the foldable and the non foldable. Obviously, opt for the foldable only if it is an absolute must.

The T85 treadmill has a powerful motor and decent size belt. The larger dimensions and heavier weight provides added stability.

As mentioned in our conclusion, Tunturi treadmills are good machines. However, because of the lack of distributors and its switch of fabrication in Taiwan, we would suggest other high end brands that are in the same price range.
