Alliance Treadmill - Recommended, Performing and High Quality Machine

This page will review all Alliance treadmill models. They range from $900 to $1,800. Alliance is known for its high quality and affordability. Before we go on to the reviews, we would first like to discuss its ….

Company Background

Alliance functions under Keys Fitness. Keys also manufacture Healthtrainer, Ironman, Keys and Discovery. Keys Fitness is based in Garland, Texas and is one of the remaining brands to still assemble their equipment in the States.

Keys Fitness is also following the trend of overseas parts purchasing. However the difference is that they are assembling the machines back home. They are known for putting high quality parts into their fitness equipment.

Keys is one of the stronger companies in specialty fitness. We should expect Alliance treadmills to have their share in the market.

Strong Point

The first strong point in Alliance treadmills is the higher quality parts integrated in the machine. The quality is higher in relation to other treadmills in the same price range. Ironman treadmills are another brand manufactured by Keys fitness that has the same strong point.

The warranty on frame and motor is strong. The parts warranty is 2 years, which is in the lower limit when considering the price of Alliance treadmills. Higher quality treadmills will result in a better warranty and it will give you more confidence when purchasing the treadmill.

Some strong features included in its machines are a cushioned deck, orthopedic belt, and strong motors.

Weak Point

One weak point of Alliance treadmills is the assembly quality. They need to work on the design and thus the finish.

Overseas purchasing of some parts can harm the treadmill’s quality. However, Alliance still has a higher quality rating than the average.

Expert Reviews

TreadmillDoctor.com says “Due to the defection of lower cost treadmill manufacturing to Asia, they are one of the best USA built options you have left.”

ConsumerGuide.com recommends both the A7t and A8t Alliance treadmills.

Conclusion

Alliance treadmills are manufactured by Keys Fitness. It is in the same family as Ironman treadmill which is a brand that we recommend. Alliance treadmills are in the low-mid range and we recommend this brand.

Alliance is manufactured with higher quality parts and has a good warranty. We would like to see an improvement in parts and assembly, but all in all Alliance treadmills are a good choice.
