Bodyguard belongs to parent company Procycle. Procycle has been building fitness equipment since 1969. Over the year, they have made a name for themselves as a high quality company. Bodyguard began producing their own exercise equipment in 1995. They have also used the same approach as their parent company.
Bodyguard offers both home and industrial (or commercial) machines. They have a wide selection of treadmills, elliptical trainers, steppers, and exercise bikes.
Bodyguard treadmills have received many great reviews and some of its models were rated as best buy by credible reviewers.
Strong Point
Bodyguard treadmills have a great resilience due to its high quality construction. It also has an excellent warranty therefore you won’t have to worry about getting stuck with a faulty treadmill.
All of its models have a deck size of at least 20 x 56, which are the required dimensions for running. The T540 has a 22 x 63 in belt, perhaps the largest in the market for home equipment.
The overall rating of Bodyguard treadmills is a strong point. These machines are well designed, well built and provide you with the basic features.
Weak Point
Bodyguard treadmills do not have many weaknesses. Perhaps one weakness is that some of the models come with optional grip pulse sensors. For a treadmill in the price range above $2,500, you would at least expect them to include the heart rate monitors.

Bodyguard T240 Treadmill - *RECOMMENDED WITHIN $1,500 - $1,999*
The T240 is the new base model offered by Bodyguard. For a base model, this one is quite impressive. Like all Bodyguard treadmills, two ply phelonic belts, heart rate control programs, and basic features.
The one drawback is that heart rate grips and telemetry are optional, which is strange considering the price tag of the T240 treadmill.
This machine is stable, reliable, and has an excellent warranty. We suggest the T260 for its reversible deck and heart rate monitoring and control.

Bodyguard T260 Treadmill
The T260 used to be the base model offered by Bodyguard. Like most Bodyguard treadmills, The T 260 comes with a reversible deck, two ply Phelonic belts, heart rate control programs, and basic features.
The features included are warm up and cool down periods, User IDs and Multiple languages.
The Bodyguard T260 comes with pulse grip sensors and a 2.75 CHP motor. Bodyguard is known for its unbeatable warranties. The value jumps up ten fold knowing that your machine is warranted for life for the frame and motor. 10 years on parts is one of the best in the industry. Nautilus is another brand that offers lifetime warranty.
The T260 Bodyguard treadmill’s $500 increase from the T240 may not be justified. The T280 is the best buy with this brand.

Bodyguard T280 P Treadmill - *BEST VALUE WITHIN BODYGUARD*
The T280P Bodyguard treadmill is another well designed machine. The 3.0 CHP motor and 20 x 57 belt allows you to run at any speed without the motor struggling, or creating any loud noises.
Similar to the T260 Bodyguard treadmill, the T280P treadmill is resilient and is fabricated with high quality standards. The warranty reflects this.
As far as features go, you get the standard Bodyguard packages, warm up/cool down, User IDs and multiple languages. A wireless chest strap is included, which can be very useful for heart rate monitoring.
The T280 P is a better choice than the T280 C Bodyguard. There is not much difference in specs, but a big $500 difference in price. The T280 Bodyguard treadmill is your best buy.

Bodyguard T280 C Treadmill
The T280 C Bodyguard treadmill is almost identical to the T280 P model. There are a few differences, however not worth the price gap.
The main differences is the T280C has more built in programs and an orthopedic belt. You can expect the two models to run identically.
*Note*
Orthopedic belts are not encouraged. They do not provide much improvement on impact absorption but they put a lot of stress on the drive system. In the long run, it can cause more harm than good. The T280P is a wiser choice. Save the $500.

The T320 Bodyguard is offered at a high price. This machine does not fit everyone’s budget. In terms of value for money, the rating for the T320 is average.

The T360 is an upgrade from the T320. This treadmill has a bigger dimension and slightly heavier overall weight.
The T360 Bodyguard treadmill comes with a 3.4 hp motor and a 20 x 58 inch belt. As far as features go, you can be sure that the T 360 includes virtually everything you need.
The T360 is the highest performing treadmill you should be looking at. The T560 and T700 are light commercial models and have a shorter warranty.

Bodyguard T560 Treadmill
The T560 is a light commercial model and is recommended for heavy users. With a price tag of $4,000, not many people will consider buying it.
The T 560 Bodyguard treadmill comes with a good sized 20 x 58 inch belt that is powered by a 3.4 continuous duty belt. The deck is reversible; therefore the lifetime of the deck doubles. This might be useful since the warranty on parts has been cut down substantially since the T560 is a light commercial model.
All in all, it is a well packaged machine. However, Bodyguard’s other models have a better value.
