EVO Treadmill - Recommended, High Rating and Performing Treadmills.

An EVO treadmill can range from $1,299 to $3,500. There are 9 models in this price range and they will all be reviewed individually. But before we go on to the reviews, let’s begin with the ...

Company Background

EVO Fitness is a subsidiary of InternetFitness.com. They have been in the fitness equipment business for over 20 years and have been selling on the Internet for 8 years. In addition, they are the largest seller of quality treadmills online with their EVO and Smooth Fitness equipment.

EVO treadmills are developed by Smooth, therefore you can rest assured that these exercise equipment are performing machines. The EVO treadmills are built to be innovative, functional, durable and stylistic.

And most important, they are designed to be very low maintenance. Your focus should be on getting in shape and losing weight, not maintaining your equipment.

Strong Point

EVO treadmills have excellent warranties. Its warranties range from (Lifetime frame, 10 year motor, 5 year belt/deck/rollers, 3 year parts, 1 year labor) to LIFETIME ON ALL.

The most distinguishing feature of most EVO treadmills is the motion control to change speed by waving your hand over sensors in the hand rails. A common complaint by treadmill users is the off-balance experience of adjusting the speed. It generally requires reaching forward while you are in motion and pressing a button on the console. Not only do you have to awkwardly lean forward as you run, but you also have to visually focus on the board. Motion control is the solution to this complaint.

The overall value of EVO treadmills is a above average. EVO treadmills are composed of higher quality parts and newer technologies compare to its competitors.

Weak Point

There is no evident weakness in EVO treadmills. The only critic we can make is as you go up to more expensive models; the value for money begins to decrease.

Powered by a 2.75 HP continuous duty motor combined with a heavy duty frame the EVO FX30 provides the durability and stability needed for the most active workout enthusiast.

It features the patented Motion Control and Swing Arm Suspension. It has a good reliability and quality. The one feature that we would like to see on this model is the wireless heart rate control. Its lower models have this features, however it is optional on FX30.

EVO FX40 HR Treadmill

EVO treadmills - FX240 HR

It includes all the features you would want. Patented motion control is perhaps the best features a treadmill can have. You can load up to 8 user profiles if you have multiple users using the treadmill.

As mentioned earlier, heart rate control is the new trend of training. You are getting a more effective training session by working in a specified heart rate zone. Using time as a reference is not as efficient.

EVO FX60 HRO Treadmill - *BEST VALUE WITHIN EVO*

EVO treadmills - FX60 HRO

The FX60 HRO has received great ratings. It is the last of the “FX” EVO treadmills and it is the most performing one. It has all the features you would need. Its price brings it into the same price range as other performing brands such as Pacemaster and Bodyguard. However the FX-60 HRO can hold its ground.

We are not fans of orthopedic belts. However the motor should be strong enough to power the belt effortlessly. That is pretty much the only flaw in the FX60 HRO treadmill.

This model is recommended and was rated 3rd runner up as best buy within its price range by treadmill doctor.
