Vision Fitness treadmills are made by Johnson Health Tech Inc., which has been in business for over 25 years. Johnson also distributes treadmill brands such as Matrix and Horizon.

Vision Fitness, a Wisconsin-based company, introduced their first line of treadmills in 1997 and until now, they are one of the most stable treadmill importers in the USA. Their mission is to “develop the most simple, reliable, and comfortable treadmill in the market.” Simple, reliable and comfortable are the perfect words to describe the performance of a Vision Fitness treadmill.

Strong Point

Vision treadmills are high valued fitness machines. With the price you will pay on a Vision Fitness treadmill, you can expect to receive a very good performing treadmill. Basically, Vision offers a full packaged (decent comfort, reliability, warranty, motor and quality) treadmill at an affordable price.

Vision incorporates such a simple and “easy to use” design on all their treadmills. For example, every model has the effective Speed and Elevation Quick Keys on its console. This feature enables you to easily jump to a desired level of speed or incline by the push of a button.

Weak Point

The main weakness of a Vision treadmill lies within its belt. Vision uses wax on all their treadmill belts. This may appear to be a good idea but the problem arises once the wax has been worn off. If the belt is not serviced, with time the electrical parts can get damaged.

But they also said that the console was “hard to figure out on the first go around.”

It has all the necessary aspects you would want in a treadmill; from a good motor power to a good warranty. Its value is terrific and its stability is quite good for $1,299 treadmill.

Having no programs would be this Vision Fitness treadmill models main weakness but if you rarely use programs you have nothing to worry about. Basically, if you plan on doing some moderate jogging this is your treadmill. If you are a serious and hard runner, look for a “tougher treadmill” such as the Vision T9600 models.
